This artwork shares the story of Little Bay, with its natural beauty from the ocean to the bush. Koyiyoong meaning campsite or home highlights this watery haven with its sandy bay beach, as the place where Kirsty and Ryan grew up and still live today.
Engraved upon a backdrop of water imagery the areas sandstone cliffs and sandy bay beaches is depicted as the artworks central design. Message stick designs in natural ochre’s share Kirsty and Ryan’s stories of growing up in the area, while the pathway continues and connects to form Little Bay, showing their journey from Past, Present and into the Future - Growing up in the area, connecting as a couple and future generations. Natural ochre’s used within the painting celebrate traditional custodians, acknowledge the Eora Nation.
Two people symbols depicting the couple sit on the top left of the design and together the symbols depict Ryan’s home where he grew up. Earthy tones woven throughout the visual narrative reflect the local bush landscapes and native flora, alongside the couples love of the outdoors and all nature has to offer in Little Bay.

TERMS
Commissioning an artwork is an exciting and collaborative process with time invested in obtaining a thorough brief to ensure your vision is realised. I have wide-ranging experience in creating site-specific artwork for both residential and commercial spaces.
When pricing my artwork I factor in the dimensions of the work, the costs of the material to be used and the labour intercity of the techniques and processes that will be employed in creating your work.
Once a decision is made to move forward with a design a 25% deposit is required to enable us to proceed.
